Residential care home operators:

The Department of Labor is hosting a free live online training on the federal wage and hour laws this Thursday at 10 am. Topics covered will include best practices and typical mistakes made by residential care home owners that can lead to hundreds of thousands of dollars in back wages owed to workers. This online presentation will have a live video feed of the presenter and will have time for questions form the participants.

Before the meeting, please go to the following link to ensure that the WebEx software is properly installed:

Then on the day of the meeting login to the WebEx at 9:45 am to ensure that your computer has time to properly connect. To login you will need to:

1. Go to https://dol.webex.com/dol/j.php…
2. If requested, enter your name and email address.
3. If a password is required, enter the meeting password: Abcd123!
4. Click “Join”.
After logging in online you will then need to dial in to the conference call line to hear the audio:
