The proposed AB 1911, aims to establish statutory deadlines for the Department of Social Services (DSS) to act on and report complaints. While intended to streamline processes, this bill also grants complainants a right to appeal, potentially overburdening our already strained DSS and affecting our ability to provide efficient care.
